Grand Egyptian Museum:

Djoser's royal pyramid at Saqqara shows the first important building breakthroughs in Egypt's architectural past.

Memphis:

At Memphis, the ancient royal city, you will study the remains, including the massive limestone statue of King Ramses II. Then, you'll head to Dahshur next to discover two Egyptian pyramids that emerged during the Old Kingdom's architectural developments. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant during your Egypt short breaks package.

Your guide will be ready at your hotel to start another memorable day in Cairo at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. You can see a vast collection of artifacts, statues, and fascinating exhibits about Egyptian history and art, with stunning exhibits of royal mummies and exhibits on Egyptian civilization over thousands of years.

Citadel of Saladin:

Afterward, visit the Citadel of Saladin, a fortress located in Mokattam Hills that began its construction in 1183 A.D. to protect Cairo against enemies. You just cannot skip the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, built for the ruler who stayed in Egypt for over 45 years by the Turkish architect Yusuf Bushnak.

Old Cairo:

You will have lunch to look forward to once again at a local diner, and the last stop on this Cairo adventure tour would be at the very historic Old Cairo, where you are set to arrive at the ancient Abu Serga Church, Hanging Church, as well as the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
